Phyllis Kidd, a retired teacher from Glen Ellyn, IL
Fred Vaughn, an Internet operations technician from Mineral Point, WI (4-day total: $65,700)

What is The Mikado?

Phillis 8400 + 3201 = 11601
Mara 10400 + 6401 = 16801 (1-day total: $16,801)
Fred 11600 + 5000 = 16600

Fred’s bet wins a Triple Stumper, but it doesn’t do much for him on a triple-get like this! But Mara’s the new champion! She’ll be back tomorrow!

I loved Fred. Hopefully he stays in the TOC running.

Congratulations, Fred, on being only the third four-or-more-time champion in the last seven months. While Fred will probably be invited to the next ToC, it’s interesting that the first person with a guaranteed spot will be the college champion.
