Daily Doubles all week #SHC2012

First, I see on the Jeopardy! message boards that Hans von Walter has taped Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He thinks it’s going to air October 3rd but he says it might change. He says he’d keep the boards in the know, and I’ll do the same for you. He also said that Roger Craig and Jean Cui were at his taping!
I feel woefully behind on SHC updates, but I couldn’t really blog this weekend. I figure if Andy and I cover two days each time we blog this week, we’ll be caught up soon. It’s a lot of work for me but I want to do things right. So I’m conjured up dinner and turned on tennis, and as Dad of Twins says a lot when he introduces his clues, “On we go.”
Speaking of getting caught up, I’m glad to see that Bill MacDonald is back in action in the SHC!
To save us some confusion, I’m going to list the people I’m watching according to how they’re ranked overall, as I type this (not according to how they did in these rounds). I have to say, though, that I beat 5 of these people in Week 4 Day 6. [sinister laugh]

So these are the clues for Week 4, Day 6. A caveat: I have to make some judgment calls myself. This doesn’t necessarily reflect whether someone’s response was officially accepted. I have a feeling I’m going to get an unpleasant comment anyway! It’s okay. You know I welcome comments.
