In case you’d forgotten, Philadelphia’s Villanova University (Villa = House, Nova = New) was in the news due to defeating the University of North Carolina to win the NCAA Championship.

And much like the heart-stopping buzzer beater to win the NCAA basketball tournament this past spring, this week has had some heart-stopping finishes. A very fitting Final Jeopardy to act as a season’s conclusion.

What a great season this was. Season 33 begins on my birthday: September 12.

  2. This is driving me crazy. There was a question relating to the name of the type of tone that includes almost all colors mixed together. Anyone?

WORD ORIGINS $2000: French for “raw”, it’s the 4-letter name of a light greyish-yellowish-brown

      “What is ecru?”
