ABBA, consisting of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, first caught the world’s attention when they won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with their performance of “Waterloo”. They later had numerous hits around the world with songs such as “Dancing Queen”, “Take a Chance on Me”, “Mamma Mia”, and “Fernando”.
ZZ Top, consisting of Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and the (beardless) Frank Beard, were formed in Houston in 1969. Their 1983 album “Eliminator” sold more than 10 million copies and are one of America’s seminal blues-rock groups. Their best-known songs include “La Grange”, “Tush”, “Sharp Dressed Man”, and “Legs”.
