Earlier this week, Jeopardy! officially announced its schedule for Season 34.
Season 34 premieres on September 11th, and as is usual, will run for 46 weeks (230 episodes), with a season finale of July 27, 2018.
According to the show’s press release, “season highlights include the latest editions of popular events, including the Tournament of Champions, College Championship and Teachers Tournament.”
This would mean that I would expect to see the Tournament of Champions airing in November, the College Championship in February, and the Teachers Tournament in May.
For those who were hoping for a Teen Tournament, there was no word in this announcement regarding a Teen Tournament, or any celebrity episodes.

November ToC: the current qualifying period is already 22% longer (by number of games) than any previous one, and likely to go longer. Regardless of when the cutoff falls, we’ll have a fine field competing for the $250,000 – and that’s why this is the event that I have my eye on. Plus, as with the last two such events, we and the competitors can have a lot of fun with #fakeToC2017!
February College: the show has advertised a college test for October 3; testing for the College Championship late September/early October has yielded a February event in each of the last two seasons.
No Teen: I wonder if de-emphasis of the Teen Tournament is a new normal going forward, after the show didn’t air one in 2015-16 (vice Season 31, when it was almost certainly scuttled by the SPE data breach, a “force majeure” event).
