What is “The Lion King”?
Many settings from The Lion King, including Pride Rock, and the gorge where Mufasa was killed, were inspired by Hell’s Gate National Park in Kenya.
(As an aside: The show’s writing staff has been significantly better this season when it comes to naming the correct year for Oscar-winning films. They got their wording dead-on correct again this time. The Lion King was released in 1994.)
Delivery before December 25 is unlikely on any orders at this point. However, you can still get all of the items from The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store. Here are our top sellers; all prices are in US dollars!

Wow. That is an incredibly easy Final IMO.
A couple of thoughts:
Let’s see…minus one for Movies, minus one for Africa…Nah, just kidding. Whoever leads is winning this one.
You, Mark, are correct.
And I think the show might lose viewership if the home audience could never get a Final. I know people who get all excited about just getting one or two right during a show. That’s what makes it fun and keeps them coming back 🙂
I like the question, but I think the 1994 reference gives it away. Leave out the year and I think it’s a question that most players would reasonably get but it’s not as much as a gimme (as basically, aside from the Oscar part, the clue is asking to name an animated film with an African setting, which is already a limited list).
The easy Friday one…..and again a new champ.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYBODY!!!!
