More information about Final Jeopardy:

Viola Davis won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her role as Rose Maxson in the revival of August Wilson’s Fences. It was her second Tony, as she won for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 2001 for her role in King Hedley II. Her role as Annalise Keating on How to Get Away With Murder has won her the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (the first black woman to win that award), and she became the only black actor to win the Triple Crown of Acting (Oscar, Tony, and Emmy) when she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her reprisal of her role as Rose Maxson in the 2016 film adaptation of Fences.

  1. After the contestant introductions in tomorrow’s show, I hope Alex Trebek can go straight to introducing the first round categories as a jump start, so they wouldn’t finish both rounds with any unplayed clues on the board.

TEN unplayed clues? Are they going for a record here? And there was not even a video category or such. What’s the record anyway? I’m sure you have that stat somewhere, Andy? And I mean “normal” games.

  3. You left out Whoopi Goldberg as the first black woman to win the Triple Crown, but has also won the whole EGOT.
