Hi,
Even though Alex lost the game, I am curious about his answer to final jeopardy that was accepted as correct. He wrote “What is Tale of Two Cities”. Does that mean that he didn’t have to include the “A” in the book title? Thank you
The rules of the show are such that leading articles are allowed to be added, removed, or changed (i.e. between “the” and “a”) without it invalidating the response. (“The Tale of Two Cities”, “A Tale of Two Cities”, and “Tale of Two Cities” are equally acceptable.)
Internal articles in titles must be correct and exact, though.
