More information about Final Jeopardy: (The following write-up is original content and is copyright 2020 The Jeopardy! Fan. It may not be copied without linked attribution back to this page.)
Deriving from “guerra”, the Spanish for “war”, the word guerrilla usually refers to irregular military tactics, especially independent units that carry out harassment and sabotage. These tactics often utilize the increased mobility of a smaller force as an advantage against a much less mobile traditional military in the hope that the adversaries eventually become exhausted and withdraw. While the tactics often date back to Sun Tzu and The Art of War, the term came to prominence in the early 19th century as Spanish and Portuguese guerrilla forces were very successful against Napoleon’s forces.

Toughest one in the last 3 weeks, IMHO. Had “politico” stuck in my head, but was able to pull the right one out just in the nick of time.
All of the most recent contestants have been from California, most likely due to pandemic. When will see more diversity regarding the contestants home states?
Cases are rising everywhere, Donna. Safety should be the show’s #1 priority right now, and if that means we have contestants from close to Los Angeles, so be it.
It could be when there is a vaccine. Indoor dining has been stopped and the show is being protective of everyone.
Donna: Californians are originally from many different States, as noted by the inclusion of “originally from” after the names of a number of Jeopardy contestants recently. We are “diverse.”
I started with mercenary, wasn’t quite satisfied with it, thought about guerilla, felt better and ended up, fortunately, there.
I thought of “intifada” and “desperado”. The actual answer makes more sense.
Burt’s joy and graciousness at the end of his victory was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on Jeopardy, and I’ve been watching for a long time. This video (https://twitter.com/Jeopardy/status/1324562151718051840) helps explain why.
