Kate Ritchie, a retired doctor from Craigavon, Northern Ireland![]() |
Ross Taylor, a company director from Alva, Clackmannanshire (1-day total: £2,375)![]() |
Andy’s Pre-Game Thoughts:
We have a new champion on Jeopardy!—Ross Taylor (not the New Zealand cricketer as our host pointed out yesterday) dethroned 4-day champion Keshava Guha yesterday, picking up £2,375 in victory! Today, he faces off against Kate and Dennis for the right to continue as Jeopardy! champion! With Kate, I believe that’s also our first contestant from Northern Ireland, as she’s from Craigavon in County Armagh!
I should also mention that I populate the information above based on what is announced at the end of the previous episode; if the introduction is different at airtime the following day, I do make changes at that point.
Another reminder that I have started a Sunday mailbag column where I answer fan & viewer questions regarding the show. If you have a question, feel free to send it to mailbag@thejeopardyfan.com!

Very topical, given that she is about to abdicate.
That’s the first thing I thought of, too. However, if not for that news, I would have had no idea.
The remark mentioning Dr. Spooner with regard to Friar Tuck is gold!
First country that came to my mind but it was a lucky guess.
