32nd Tournament Of Champions To Kick Off Friday, January 24 On TuneIn As Partnership With J! Extended

Jeopardy! fans will get an extra game this week in the lead-up to the 32nd Tournament of Champions.

TuneIn and Sony Pictures Television announced today that the opening audio-only exhibition game of the upcoming Tournament of Champions will be streamed exclusively on TuneIn for free.

The exhibition game will stream live on Jeopardy! Radio on TuneIn on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. ET and will be available on demand after the premiere. This game features the top three seeds from the 32nd Tournament of Champions—Adriana Harmeyer (15 wins), Isaac Hirsch (9 wins), and Drew Basile (7 wins)—who will later be seeded into the semifinal round of the tournament, with these players battling in this exhibition game before playing other players in the tournament.

“The Tournament of Champions is always full of surprises, so this matchup gives this season’s top-ranked champions a chance to face off and test their skills against each other ahead of the tournament,” said Sally Umsted, Vice President of Consumer Products and Licensing for Sony Pictures Television. “By teaming up with TuneIn, fans can experience even more of the excitement around the tournament and hear some of their favorite players compete for fun.”

37.80% in first on buzzer (344/910)

Overall Thoughts: The prediction model believes that Isaac has a 35.2% chance of taking victory, Adriana a 33.3% chance, and Drew a 31.5% chance. (I think the major difference between Drew and Adriana here is their respective get rates in Final Jeopardy.)

  1. How will The Jeopardy! Fan handle live stats on Bluesky and Threads? If the plan is to post them alongside initial streaming of this game, it would be wise to advertise that well ahead of time, as they would be simultaneous with the second game of the Champions Wildcard final in 22% of the United States (and generally, the time slot where the most discussion of the game occurs on social media).
