Robin Thede on Celebrity Jeopardy!
Blake Anderson, an actor originally from Concord, California, playing for Turtle Conservancy
Blake Anderson on Celebrity Jeopardy!
Susie Essman, an actor & comedian from New York, New York, playing for City Harvest
Susie Essman on Celebrity Jeopardy!

Andy’s Pre-Game Thoughts:

Our three celebrities tonight are Susie Essman (Susie on Curb Your Enthusiasm), Blake Anderson (co-creator of Workaholics), and Robin Thede (A Black Lady Sketch Show). The festivities start at 9:00 (8:00 Central) on ABC and CTV.

A very important point here: There will be a 2-week break before the next Celebrity Jeopardy episode, with the next show airing February 26—this break was pre-scheduled before the season even started, so any narratives that you might read in other venues regarding this break are very likely false narratives attempting to show that Jeopardy is doing worse than it actually is. These narratives are being perpetuated by a group who want the show to return to a decades-ago time—an era that was punctuated by Maya Angelou giving interviews criticising the show’s lack of diversity.

2 Comments on "Celebrity Jeopardy! Game Recap – Wednesday, February 12, 2025"

  1. Just kind of luckily stumbled into this one. The only part of the clue that helped was an ad and the only famous ad song that I could think of from a movie was Ghostbusters

  2. I almost immediately thought of “Who ya gonna call?” sounding like a pest control company ad (and I could tell the clue was asking for song name, not movie name), but I did not realize that the name of the song was not “Who ya gonna call?”.
