Good news for Pop Culture Jeopardy! fans—Season 2 is coming!
According to an article posted today by Peter White of Deadline, Pop Culture Jeopardy! has been given a second season. However, in what is also described as “an extremely rare move in the world of entertainment formats”, the series is moving streaming services from Prime Video to Netflix. (However, it appears as if the switch can be explained by the fact that a number of Prime Video executives have moved to Netflix recently.)
It is expected that we will see the same tournament format, with 81 teams of 3 competing, similarly to Season 1; the Deadline article also reports that Colin Jost is in talks to return as host.
(Editor’s note, December 15, 2025: Executive Producer Michael Davies confirmed today on Inside Jeopardy! that Colin is returning as host of Season 2; taping will begin in January 2026, as per the same reports.)

Drat! We had JUST decided to cancel Netflix! Is there ANY indication when it will be released? Or just, being knowledgeable of the processes, when it is highly unlikely NOT to be released before at least when?
Any reports at this point are “2026”; there will likely be plenty of notice on the premiere date though.
