The interesting show news on Friday is that Sony Pictures Television and CBS Media Ventures have come to a settlement over the distribution dispute that had been hanging over Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. The main part of the settlement is that CBS will hand over distribution to Sony in the United States (and Canada) after the 2027–28 season. The fall of 2028 is when Sony had been earmarking for same-day streaming for these shows (as opposed to next-day streaming, which is what is currently happening); it was known in the industry as well that all of the distribution contracts were up for renewal at the end of the 2027–28 season. What that will mean in terms of how people watch come 2028 is still to be seen.

Looking to find out who won Jeopardy! today? Here’s the November 8-9, 2025 Jeopardy! by the numbers, along with a recap:
Game Recap:
Dave rebounded from an early time in the negative to leading at all three commercial breaks, on the strength of 23 correct responses. Andrew having found DD2 early in Double Jeopardy was the only thing that kept him in the game, with a dozen correct responses from Dave in Double Jeopardy ensuring that Dave’s lead was crush-sized, with Andrew in a position where he only wins about 20% of the time—Andrew has to be correct in Final with Dave incorrect.
And, much to Andrew’s surprise after the last commercial break, that’s exactly what happened. Dave picked the Royal Alexandria, and Andrew went on to victory number 2.
Next week will feature Andrew going for victory #3 against Michael DiSciullo and Stephanie Rozman.
Scores going into Final:
Dave $20,200
Andrew $13,000
Kat $5,400
Tonight’s results:
Kat $5,400 – $5,398 = $2 (What is the Tate?)
Andrew $13,000 + $7,201 = $20,201 (What is the Victoria + Albert Museum?) (2-day total: $45,401)
Dave $20,200 – $5,801 = $14,399 (What is the Royal Alexandrian?)

Game Stats:
