Here’s the Pop Culture Jeopardy Final Jeopardy (in the category 21st Century Movies) for Friday, June 5, 2026 (Season 2, Game 20):

Edith Macefield’s refusal to sell her house to developers, who built around it, was said to inspire the makers of this Oscar-winning film

(correct response beneath the contestants)

Today’s Pop Culture Jeopardy! contestants:

Snake Juice, No Pulp, Anita & Erika (Yesterday’s total: 1)
Snake Juice, No Pulp on Pop Culture Jeopardy!
AMC B-Listers, Jack & Henry (Yesterday’s total: 10,400)
AMC B-Listers on Pop Culture Jeopardy!
One Baddie After Another, Jonathan & McShane (Yesterday’s total: 40,000)
One Baddie After Another on Pop Culture Jeopardy!

Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

In our season finale of Pop Culture Jeopardy!, One Baddie After Another has a big lead over both the AMC B-Listers and Snake Juice, No Pulp. However, it is not an insurmountable one. The key number here is 14,800; if AMC leads the Baddies by more than that entering Final Jeopardy, then the lead has changed hands, and this lead is very much in play if the Daily Doubles in Double Jeopardy go AMC’s way.

Edith Macefield’s refusal to sell her Seattle home while a commercial development in the city’s Ballard neighborhood was built around it served as the inspiration for Charles Muntz refusing to do the same in the opening sequence of the Disney film Up.

The fun nature of getting to respond “What is Up?” aside, I think this is an excellent clue to end the finals with.

Game Recap & Tonight’s Game Stats:

Here’s the recap for Season 2, Episode 20:

Jeopardy! Round:

(Categories: Who’s Your Bias?; That’s My Production Company; The Sharknado Finamatic Universe; What?!; Wardrobe; Malfunction)

Snake Juice found the Daily Double early, but got it incorrect. AMC B-Listers led this one through 30; while Baddies still had a big lead, if the Daily Doubles break the right way for AMC in Double, this won’t be over. On the opening board, the Baddies got 5 in Wardrobe, while AMC got 4 in production companies and 3 in fandoms.

Today’s interviews:

Snake Juice, No Pulp would like to thank their mother, their sister, and their partners.
AMC B-Listers want to thank their girlfriends, their friends, and their parents.
One Baddie After Another want to thank their pub quiz teammates, and Colin.

Statistics after the Jeopardy round:

AMC B-Listers 11 correct 1 incorrect
One Baddie After Another 7 correct 0 incorrect
Snake Juice, No Pulp 7 correct 1 incorrect

Scores after the Jeopardy! Round:

AMC B-Listers 6,800
One Baddie After Another 3,200
Snake Juice, No Pulp 3,000

Double Jeopardy! Round:

(Categories: Headlining The Festival; GLHF; I Quit; Nice Ensemble; Rhyme Time; Labubu, Matcha & Dubai Chocolate)

As I said, if the Daily Doubles break the right way… and they certainly did. AMC B-Listers found them both, doubled up twice, and that was enough to give them the lead entering Final Jeopardy. But One Baddie After Another played well enough to make sure that AMC still had to be correct in Final. On the second board, the Baddies got 3 in quitting, while AMC got 4 in music festival headliners and ensembles.

Statistics after Double Jeopardy:

AMC B-Listers 24 correct 1 incorrect
One Baddie After Another 17 correct 0 incorrect
Snake Juice, No Pulp 10 correct 1 incorrect

Scores going into Final:

AMC B-Listers 49,200
One Baddie After Another 16,000
Snake Juice, No Pulp 5,800

All three teams knew what is Up—and yes, AMC did do the math right, so they’re the $300,000 winners! Both the Baddies and the Snakes get $75,000 apiece.

Tonight’s results:

Snake Juice, No Pulp 5,800 + 0 = 5,800 + 1 = 5,801 ($75,000) (What is Up)
One Baddie After Another 16,000 + 16,000 = 32,000 + 40,000 = 72,000 ($75,000) (What is Up?)
AMC B-Listers 49,200 + 13,000 = 62,200 + 10,400 = 72,600 (What is Up?) ($300,000)

AMC B-Listers, the Season 2 winners of Pop Culture Jeopardy.

Final Jeopardy! wagering suggestions:

(Scores: AMC B-Listers 49,200 One Baddie After Another 16,000 Snake Juice, No Pulp 5,800)

One Baddie After Another: You could go all in to force AMC to do the math right—always viable in a 2-game final—but if they are incorrect in Final, a bet between 0 and 8,799 gives you the win if they’re incorrect. (Actual bet: 16,000)

AMC B-Listers: Standard cover bet is 12,401. (Actual bet: 13,000)

Snake Juice, No Pulp: Bet whatever you like. (Actual bet: 0)
