The premiere date and players have been announced for ESPN Jeopardy!.
The Joe Buck-hosted show, streaming on Hulu, Disney+, and the ESPN app, will begin streaming on July 31 with the game consisting of sports-related clues.
Additionally, the 18-player field was announced today.
Quarterfinal 1: Christine Williamson, Jeremy Schaap, Kimberley Martin
Quarterfinal 2: MJ Acosta-Ruiz, Peter Schrager, Omar Raja
Quarterfinal 3: Jon Hamm, Keegan-Michael Key, Adam Pally
Quarterfinal 4: Hannah Storm, Jay Harris, Amina Smith
Quarterfinal 5: Kyle Brandt, Jamie Erdahl, Manti Te’o
Quarterfinal 6: Kevin Negandhi, Domonique Foxworth, Madelyn Burke
Following the quarterfinals, there will be 3 semifinal episodes and a final, with the winner receiving $500,000 to the charity of their choice.
The release schedule (whether the 10 episodes will be dropped at once, or on separate days) has not yet been announced or confirmed.

The show itself might need a few prayers. The material isn’t necessarily sports but sports as it relates to ESPN. So there might be a lot of inside jokes (“Gianluca Pagliuca” comes to mind) and references to things like the This is Sportscenter series of commercials. Just seems like the target audience is really niche.
