Correct response: What is Abbott Elementary?

More information about Final Jeopardy:

(The following write-up is original content and is copyright 2026 The Jeopardy! Fan. It may not be copied without linked attribution back to this page.)

Quinta Brunson, creator of Abbott Elementary, was inspired by her mother’s 40-year teaching career to create the ABC sitcom, which she named after Joyce Abbott, one of her favorite teachers in school.

After hearing the correct response, it makes sense that Jeopardy! would ask about this show in particular, considering how important Lisa Ann Walter has been to the show’s general lore over the past couple of years. (Again, as I like to say ad nauseum: the best way to prepare for the show is to watch the show.)
