TJ Fisher, a marketing specialist from San Francisco, California (0 wins)
Paolo Pasco, a puzzle writer originally from San Diego, California (2 wins)
Scott Riccardi, an engineer from Somerville, New Jersey (0 wins)
Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
The Tournament of Champions finals move on to Game 3 today, with Paolo Pasco a victory away from ending the tournament today. With Paolo on 2 victories, you also might see some alternative betting strategies in Final Jeopardy, especially in a situation if Paolo is outside of 50% of the leader’s score. Also, while Paolo has dominated the first two games of the final, it would not surprise me if the momentum shifted here slightly.

Final Jeopardy! Category: Island Names
Final Jeopardy! Clue: This archipelago got its name in 1493 in honor of St. Ursula & her followers
In order to redesign our merchandise area to serve you better in 2026, all merchandise sales have been temporarily taken offline. Look for a return in late 2026! All previous orders will still be supported.
Correct response: What are the Virgin Islands?
More Information About Final Jeopardy!:
When Christopher Columbus sailed past the Leeward Islands in 1493, he chose to name a number of the islands in the area the Virgin Islands in honour of Saint Ursula and her holy virgin followers.
I like this as a Tournament of Champions-level Final; 1493 should put people in the right area of the world, while the knowledge of St. Ursula is something I would consider to be ToC-level.
