Here’s today’s Final Jeopardy (in the category Queen Elizabeth II) for Friday, January 15, 2021 (Season 37, Game 80):
Of the last 12 sitting U.S. presidents, the only one Elizabeth never met; she had her youngest child 3 months into his presidency
(correct response beneath the contestants)
As I said in my recent editorial, if you’re going to express an opinion about one host or another, I ask that you make thoughtful, reasoned arguments. A lot of your opinions on one host over another are going to be a matter of personal taste. Please also remember that a permanent host will not be named until the start of Season 38.
Today’s contestants:
Gautham Nagesh, a journalist originally from Jackson, Michigan
Jennifer Linde, an associate professor from Minneapolis, Minnesota
Lucy Ricketts, an illustrator originally from Atlanta, Georgia (3-day total: $79,499)
Andy’s Pregame Thoughts: Lucy has made her way onto the ToC Tracker with her 3rd win yesterday; her score wasn’t as high as her first two wins, but she still had a runaway. Being her fourth game of the day, fatigue may be getting to Lucy. How will that affect things?
PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to abide by physical distancing guidelines and when you are not able to do so, properly wear a mask. Ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

Correct response: Who is Lyndon B. Johnson?
More information about Final Jeopardy: (The following write-up is original content and is copyright 2020 The Jeopardy! Fan. It may not be copied without linked attribution back to this page.)
Queen Elizabeth II was unable to attend the funeral of John F. Kennedy in November 1963 due to her being pregnant with Prince Edward; she never did meet Lyndon Johnson. Interestingly, though, Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon did meet President Johnson at a state dinner in Washington on one of the tamer parts of their otherwise notorious trip to the United States in 1965 (the 1965 trip put the Royal Family in such a bad light that the Royal Family forbade the couple from returning in 1973.)
