Fun fact: Arbor Day is not celebrated on the same day in every state in the United States, corresponding to when it’s best to plant trees in each respective state. Florida’s and Louisiana’s is the third Friday in January. Alaska is the third Monday in May, and Maine picks the third full week in May. California’s is in March, and in the state where Arbor Day was created, Nebraska, it’s the last Friday in April. Texas even waits until November.

Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well!
