The Jeopardy! airing schedule returns to normal today after its March Madness hiccups with the ninth and final quarterfinal of the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament (the JIT). We’re also no more than 10 days from the return of regular play; we will be seeing around 160–165 games of regular play—about the number originally announced by the show last year—before we start seeing tournaments again in early 2025.
Today’s final quarterfinal sees a battle between robotics professor and “spiciest memelord” Lilly Chin, former Tournament of Champions winner Colby Burnett, and now-retired professor Sam Buttrey, being introduced as a “bon vivant & man about town”. Sam was relegated back into this competition after finishing 6th in Season 1 of Jeopardy! Masters. The prediction model thinks that this is going to be a generally evenly-matched game; I too believe that this will be a competitive and exciting episode!
An important note on this April 1: While I am not expecting much in the way of April Fool’s pranks today, there is always a chance that some Easter Eggs may be added in post-production. Thus, I would recommend that if you don’t want to be spoiled on such matters, you stay off social media until you’ve watched today’s episode.

This quote comes from C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the first published work in the Chronicles of Narnia series. Lucy Pevensie is the girl who “got in among the coats”, inadvertently discovering Narnia via the wardrobe.
I should point out that because the category is listed as “Novel Title Objects” today, “Wardrobe” is very likely going to be the only possible correct response to this clue, as any synonyms to “wardrobe” are not found in the title of this C.S. Lewis work.

- Regardless of what you might have heard at home, Ken and the judges believed that Lilly said “neurodivergence”, not “neurodivergent”.
