In compiling the soundtrack to 2018’s smash hit film Crazy Rich Asians, director John M. Chu and music supervisor Gabe Hilfer came up with a list of as many songs as they could think of about money; “Money (That’s What I Want)” and “Material Girl” made the cut for the soundtrack album. Malaysian singer Cheryl K performed the English and Chinese versions of “Money (That’s What I Want)”, while Sally Yeh performed “Material Girl (200 Du)”. The film grossed over $200 million worldwide.

Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, over $370 has been raised.)
