Jeopardy!‘s encore presentations continue tonight with Tom Philipose, Alicia O’Hare, and Jack Weller’s Second Chance game from last fall.

Speaking of Second Chance, Season 40 this fall will be seeing increased consolation prizes and a return of some contestants from Season 37 and 38, as Michael Davies announced yesterday on Inside Jeopardy. I’ll have more thoughts about the situation this weekend in my “Andy’s Weekly Thoughts” segment of the site, but as of right now, I am finding it very difficult to be enthused about the programming that we’ll be seeing until the WGA strike comes to an end.

The Skagerrak and Kattegat Straits are found in northern Europe, connecting the North Sea to the Baltic Sea, along with the various Danish straits. Even though it is a major international shipping route, I thought that when this Final initially aired that it was going to play difficult for the players. As you can see below, it ended up not being a Triple Stumper; kudos to Jack for actually getting it correct!
