Yungsheng Wang of Los Angeles won yesterday’s game after being the only player to get Final Jeopardy! correct. During yesterday’s game, per the box scores, he attempted to signal on 45 clues! That’s quite a high number, but he also gave six incorrect responses. If he can be incorrect less, he could go on a bit of a run!
On a more personal note: For the past two and a half years, I have often raised money for the MS Society of Canada through their “Gamers vs. MS” program. This July, Gamers vs. MS is running a month-long fundraising campaign called “Boss Battles.” In an attempt to raise $25,000, the Gamers vs. MS team has designed a “fundraising adventure” to defeat eight evil bosses. (Much like a Mario game might have eight bosses to defeat.) Also, a heads-up to those who watch the show on WXPI in Pittsburgh: Starting yesterday, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! are switching time slots; Jeopardy! will be airing in Pittsburgh at 7:30, while Wheel of Fortune moves to 7:00.

Just across E St. NW from the north side of the J. Edgar Hoover Building in Washington, DC sits Ford’s Theatre, the location where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in 1865.
Being Canadian, I’m not sure if there’s really a way in to this other than “name a notorious site in Washington, DC”. I’m sure some commenters will certainly tell me otherwise if I’m wrong, though!

Yungsheng definitely kept the incorrect responses down today, getting 9 correct (and 0 incorrect) in Single Jeopardy! to have a big lead after 30 clues! Jake had a strong opening to the game, but missed a True Daily Double just after the break to drop his score back to $0.
