More information about Final Jeopardy:
The Importance of Being Earnest is a famous Oscar Wilde farce and was Wilde’s final play. The play was critically acclaimed for its humor and satire of Victorian life. Unfortunately for Wilde, the Marquess of Queensberry intended to disrupt opening night with a bouquet of rotten vegetables (as Wilde’s lover was the Marquess’ son); the Marquess, however, was refused entry. Their feud escalated until it ended up in a famous libel case which led to the revealing of Wilde’s homosexuality, which then led to Wilde’s jailing and exile to France. Wilde never returned to Britain or Ireland before his 1900 death. Wilde was not officially pardoned by the Crown until 2017.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, nearly $500 has been raised.)

Andy’s Thoughts:
- When it comes to Jeopardy!, what ultimately matters is having the top score at the end of the game. People aren’t going to remember how you get to that point. And Paul is racking up those victories.
- Incredibly, though, Mark looked like he was in control of this one until about a minute left in Double Jeopardy!; that being said, he gave Paul an opening, and Paul took full advantage.
