Brazil is the only team to have competed in every single FIFA World Cup (21 on the men’s side, 8 on the women’s), having won the men’s tournament in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002. They also finished second in 1950 (losing to Uruguay), 1998 (losing to France), and on the women’s side in 2007 (losing to Germany).

Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, nearly $500 has been raised.)

Andy’s Thoughts:

• While I generally don’t think such a record should be hailed (as obtaining this record usually means that a contestant has made a suboptimal Final Jeopardy! wager), $46,800 is the second-highest known non-winning regular play Jeopardy! score of all time (second only to Adam Levin with $53,999 on April 29, 2019.). $23,400 going into Final Jeopardy! is only tied for the 10th-highest known regular-play score going into Final Jeopardy! of all time (that record is $27,000, also set by Levin).
