It certainly doesn’t feel like it, but it’s Wednesday! Kate Campolieta won yesterday’s game after her competitors ended up on the wrong end of some close, but absolutely correct, judges’ decisions (I do have some things to say about that, which I’ll go into more detail this weekend in my Weekly Thoughts column). Today, she goes for win #2 against Aubrey Gillian and Anji Nyquist.

Lesotho, completely surrounded by South Africa, is situated in the Maloti Mountains in Southern Africa; its lowest points are situated in the country’s west; King Moshoeshoe I had allied with the British in the 19th century against the Boers. Under the British, the area became known as Basutoland, which gained its independence from the United Kingdom on October 4, 1966.
