Today’s Jeopardy! contestants:

Nik Berry, a social studies teacher from Baltimore, Maryland

Julie Sisson, a library circulation assistant from Everett, Washington

Anji Nyquist, a hand model and podcast host from Minneapolis, Minnesota

Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

The first of our Wild Card Play-In Games, hosted by Buzzy Cohen on TuneIn Radio, features Nik Berry, Julie Sisson, and Anji Nyquist. All three of these players were 1-time champions in Season 39; it appears to us on the outside that 1-time champions were selected by random draw to take part in this round. These games are audio only; therefore, there will not be any images available to me to post here on the site!

Nick did have the highest average Coryat of the three players in this game; however, Julie did go 2-for-2 in Final Jeopardy during her run. It’s really hard to predict a winner at this stage; I’m just going to enjoy tonight’s games!

Another reminder that I have started a Sunday mailbag column where I answer fan & viewer questions regarding the show. If you have a question, feel free to send it to mailbag@thejeopardyfan.com!
