As with the first game, we’ve got three players 1-day champions from Season 39 here playing for a spot in Champions Wildcard. I should note that our players in these games did have their travel to Los Angeles and accommodations while in L.A. provided for them. The third of these Play-In Games will be airing on February 2nd.
The overall stats of our players in this game are slightly higher than the previous one, though nobody’s average Coryat Score is above $11,000 in our second play-in game. Much like Play-In Game #1, it will be hosted by Buzzy Cohen, who also hosted the 2021 Tournament of Champions.

More information about Final Jeopardy:
The Thomas Carlyle book, titled The French Revolution: A History, was written in 1837, just under 50 years after the Revolution took place. It certainly served as an inspiration for Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities, as Dickens was said to carry the book around with him as he went.
