What is Dartmouth?
Dartmouth in Devon, England, is named for the fact that it is located on the west bank of the Dart River. It has been of major strategic importance in England for centuries, especially in the Middle Ages, as a deepwater port. In North America, Dartmouth names the Nova Scotia location on the eastern shore of Halifax Harbour (prior to 1996, it was its own city, but was amalgamated into Halifax at that point), and, of course, the New Hampshire Ivy League university in Hanover.

well, 2/3 of the semi finalists are ladies….. I might still be right for once with an all female final!
Have a nice weekend everybody!
I happened to notice the contestants weren’t in alphabetical order by last name this time. Any idea why that might have been?
I have no idea. I noticed it as well but I don’t have an explanation.
It’s because my legal (married) name comes before McDonald in the alphabet, but I use my maiden name (Nichols) professionally and did so on the show as well.
