Warning: This page may contain spoilers for the October 25, 2023 game of Celebrity Jeopardy!, especially for those of you in the Pacific time zone—please do not scroll down if you wish to avoid being spoiled.

Today’s Celebrity Jeopardy! contestants:

Peter Schrager, a sports broadcaster & writer originally from Freehold, New Jersey, playing for the Baby Quest Foundation
Peter Schrager on Jeopardy!
Adam Rodriguez, an actor originally from Yonkers, New York, playing for Lift LA
Adam Rodriguez on Jeopardy!
Mira Sorvino, an actress & United Nations goodwill ambassador born in New York, raised in New Jersey, playing for the UN Trust Fund for victims of human trafficking
Mira Sorvino on Jeopardy!

Andy’s Pre-Game Thoughts:

Mira Sorvino tonight becomes the second contestant with a competitive acting Oscar to appear on Celebrity Jeopardy—Jodie Foster was the first. The other two players are Adam Rodriguez from Criminal Minds and sports commentator Peter Schrager. It should be noted that tonight’s winner will likely be in the semifinals against Utkarsh Ambudkar and Lisa Ann Walter, who won on September 27 and October 4, respectively.

Going forward with the scheduling, there is no Celebrity Jeopardy scheduled for November 8 due to the CMA Awards airing on ABC that evening. The Futon Critic‘s scheduling is showing everything to finish by the end of calendar year 2023, but I would still consider that to be tentative scheduling; I’d be at least a little bit surprised if ABC didn’t run Christmas holiday programming in December instead of Celebrity Jeopardy.

Having just changed shifts, was watching this “live” (Not through a DVR, or, on Hulu,) but fell asleep.
As for this episode’s Final Jeopardy, I am aware of Judy Blume, though I don’t recall ever reading any of her books. But the Final Jeopardy answer must have been refering to her book, “Hello God, it’s me Margaret.” Despite Ms. Blume stated lament, I don’t see that title as being particullary long, or, complicated.

Surprisingly, no one else has commented on this episode, and, even more surprisingly, no one “rung in” to correct me on how I had the title of the book that Ms. Blume lamented on it’s length, and, complication.
The correct title is “Are You There God? It’s me, Margaret.” My apologies to the Judy Blume fans, and, to Ms. Blume herself.
