This game’s Jeopardy! Masters contestants:

Matt Amodio, a quantitative researcher from New York, New York (47-18, 5 points)
Matt Amodio on Jeopardy!
Yogesh Raut, an educational blogger, podcast host & writer originally from Springfield, Illinois (14-11, 7 points)
Yogesh Raut on Jeopardy!
Victoria Groce, a writer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (14-6, 7 points)
Victoria Groce on Jeopardy!

Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

“Match Day 5” opens with a match between Victoria Groce, Yogesh Raut, and Matt Amodio. After her win yesterday, Victoria has once again become the odds-on favorite to repeat as Masters champion, and the Unified Prediction Model has both Victoria and Yogesh almost guaranteed to advance to the semifinals at this point. UPM also has Victoria as the favorite to take victory in this match—Victoria is 38.1% to win, Yogesh 32.1%, and Matt 29.8%. Matt certainly would like to show that he is on the same level as both Victoria and Yogesh by putting in a strong performance, but it seems at this point that he is competing with Juveria, Roger, and Isaac for two spots in the semifinals.

  1. Said “Brenter” instead of “Brentry”. FML.

  2. My guess was the same as Victoria’s.
