I mean, gas ain’t cheap, you know” and “When I make long distance calls, will they be monitored or is it on the honor system?” Other cameos in this segment included Jim Carrey, Will Arnett, and Ray Romano.

Andy’s Thoughts:
- While I do not officially post wagering suggestions for these games as I am still unsure of any tiebreaker criteria if any 0-game winners make the semifinals, I do want to commend the wager from Drew and Zach in second place; it would have won by $2 had Oakland Spirit Tunnel been incorrect.
- On Page 69 (nice!) of 1990’s The Jeopardy! Book, Alex Trebek himself wrote, “When the opportunity to go for it presents itself, then go for it you must. For example, if you ware in a category you’re comfortable with and you hit the Daily Double, be audacious. I’ve seen literature professors be in the English Lit category, hit a Daily Double in the $800 box, assume the question will be too difficult, and only wager $500. Give me a break! I don’t criticize the contestants for what they do, because being on national television can be unnerving, but ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ is a cliché that should be stamped on the foreheads of all Jeopardy! contestants.”
- Today’s box score will be linked to when posted by the show.
