For the third time, Jeopardy! honored some of the best moments of the past year-plus on the show with its Jeopardy! Honors. As has become tradition, this was taped the night before the Tournament of Champions; the awards were aired earlier today on YouTube.

For the first time, the Jeopardy! set itself played host to the ceremony; the first Honors took place outdoors on the SONY lot, while last year’s took place on the set of Wheel of Fortune.

Awards were given out in a number of different categories; they’re being listed here in order of presentation on the YouTube broadcast.

Best Game: Evan Dorey, Jay Fisher, and Will Yancey

The most recent game to win a Jeopardy! Honors award, the Champions Wildcard semifinal between Evan Dorey, Jay Fisher, and Will Yancey from January 21 unsurprisingly took this award. It saw a memorable interview from Jay Fisher early on, and then a pair of five-figure True Daily Doubles from Evan and Will. A singleton get in Final from Will put Will’s final score at $52,000 as he advanced to the Champions Wildcard final.

Breakthrough Performance: Drew Goins

Much like last year’s winner Juveria Zaheer, Drew has been the darling of the last few weeks of Jeopardy! play, going through Second Chance and finishing second in Champions Wildcard. And, his story isn’t over yet! He’ll be back on February 3 for the Tournament of Champions quarterfinal, replacing Lisa Ann Walter.

Most Valuable Player: Adriana Harmeyer

With her 15 victories this past season, Adriana Harmeyer was selected as Most Valuable Player at this year’s Jeopardy! Honors.

Jeopardy! Hall of Fame inductee: Ken Jennings

Joining Merv & Julann Griffin, Harry Friedman, Johnny Gilbert, Alex Trebek, and Steven Dorfman, Ken Jennings is the seventh inductee into the Jeopardy! Hall of Fame. For the last twenty-plus years, Ken has been associated with the show, winning 74 games, finishing second in a number of competitions thereafter, and winning ABC’s Jeopardy!: The Greatest of All Time in 2020. After that, Ken retired and became consulting producer, a guest host, and recently became the sole host of the syndicated program.
