Warning: This page may contain spoilers for the April 24, 2025 game of Jeopardy! UK, especially for those of you watching delayed or on-demand. This page will be updated during each commercial break as the show airs.
Today’s contestants:
Jordan Henshaw, a practice manager from Nuneaton
Rosemary Mallace, a personal trainer from Manchester
Ben Jones, a hotel receptionist from Caerphilly (9-day total: £59,730)
Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
“Will no one rid us of this extraordinary Welshman?” Stephen Fry asked that question yesterday as Ben Jones won his ninth game. Today, Ben goes for superchampion status against Rosemary Mallace of Manchester and Jordan Henshaw of Nuneaton.
Today is the last game of Series 2. It may even be the last first-run game of Jeopardy! airing in the UK. Which means that it may well be more likely that ITV or Whisper North chooses to rid us of Ben, either by cancelling the show, or choosing not to invite Ben to start Series 3, “because nobody will remember” as they did with Archi Campbell between the start of Series 1 and 2. Considering this flies completely in the face of half of the promotional work that Stephen Fry did for this season, in which he gushed of the importance of “how far will the champion go”, that is a bit of a head-scratcher of a production decision.
Honestly, though, other than that single production decision from Whisper North, I have quite enjoyed Series 2; I definitely felt it was produced better overall than Series 1 was, and if there are further episodes produced, I will absolutely strive to cover them here the same way I cover the American episodes.
