The title of the famous musical Fiddler on the Roof was inspired by the 1912 Marc Chagall painting The Fiddler. The musical itself was the first Broadway musical to have a run of 3,000 performances and won 9 Tony Awards (including Best Musical). The musical itself was based on Sholem Aleichem’s Tevye and his Daughters.

Here at The Jeopardy! Fan, I’d like to thank my friend who suggested I take in the Marc Chagall exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario back in 2011. It’s been particularly helpful for getting various Jeopardy! clues over the years!

Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, over $370 has been raised.)
