Warning: This page may contain spoilers for the January 26, 2023 game of Celebrity Jeopardy!, especially for those of you in the Pacific time zone—please do not scroll down if you wish to avoid being spoiled. This page will be updated beginning at 8:00 PM Eastern with results at each commercial break.
Today’s Celebrity Jeopardy! contestants:
Michael Cera, an actor from “Arrested Development” and “Life & Beth”, playing for Saving Mothers
Michael’s previous game: January 5, 2023
Brendan Hunt, an actor from “Ted Lasso” and a comedian, playing for Soccer Without Borders
Brendan’s previous game: January 19, 2023
Patton Oswalt, an actor from The King of Queens and a comedian, playing for Alice’s Kids
Patton’s previous game: January 12, 2023
Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
This semifinal will be taking place between three players who all dominated proceedings in their respective quarterfinals. Of the three, I think Patton and Brendan are a slightly higher tier of player than Michael is, and I do expect this to be a two-horse race. Having been in the regular contestant pool as late as 2020, though, gives Brendan a slight advantage in terms of knowledge base, and I do think he’s a slight favorite to win tonight. However, the fact that there are six Daily Doubles provides for a significant amount of variance, which absolutely means that tonight’s quarterfinal is going to be both a slugfest and very unpredictable, in my opinion.
PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to get their vaccinations as soon as they can, including any boosters as recommended. When wearing a mask, please ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

Final Jeopardy! wagering suggestions:
(Scores: Brendan $31,200 Michael $20,800 Patton $12,300)
Patton: You might as well go all in—that’s your only chance. (Actual bet: $12,300)
Brendan: Standard cover bet over Michael is $10,401. (Actual bet: $10,500)
Michael: Bet at least $3,801 to cover Patton—but being that this will knock you out of contention if Brendan misses, you might as well go all in to force a cover bet. (Actual bet: $20,800)
