Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

This week’s second semifinal is being contested by O’Trivia Rodrigo, Buggsy Mogues, and Game Night Rules. As a fan, I’ve honestly enjoyed watching all three of these teams thus far in the event—my misgivings with the “did you just Google trivia team names?” vibes that I’ve had from O’Trivia Rodrigo since the start of the event aside—and I am looking forward to a well-played semifinal between three very strong teams. I’m also curious to see if Game Night Rules can come from behind in Final Jeopardy a third time; they have yet to lead going into Final Jeopardy.

Andy’s Thoughts:

  • Being that the category said “quote”, the quotes in “Quote The Millennial Anthem” needed to be exact—and “buster” and “busta” are not exactly the same. I think the show was correct in its ruling. (Also note the controversy surrounding Gangsta’s Paradise in 2016.)
  • Today’s box score will be linked to when posted by the show.

Final Jeopardy! wagering suggestions:

(Scores: Buggsy Mogues 39,600 O’Trivia Rodrigo 20,000 Game Night Rules 3,400)

O’Trivia Rodrigo: To have any chance of victory, you need to bet at least 19,200. (Actual bet: 2)

Buggsy Mogues: Standard cover bet over O’Trivia Rodrigo is 401. (Actual bet: 401)

Game Night Rules: Unless Buggsy Mogues overbets significantly, you have no chance of winning. Bet whatever you like. (Actual bet: 3,400)
