Week 4, Day 5 #SHC2012

Plunging right into the Summer Hiatus Challenge tonight! In order from best of Week 4 Day 5 to worst, among the few I’m watching:
Andy (He was among the 14 who had perfect scores! The next person in this list came in…wait for it…43rd place. Well done, Andy.)
Joon Pahk
Alison Stone Roberg
Ryan Chaffee and  Stefan Goodreau (tied)
David Menchaca (He still has an ungraded response that I will consider unanswered for now. It’s related to the 3-pointer.)
Kathy Wright
Megan Barnes
Robert (Like David, he has an ungraded response. When I total his points myself, I come up with 47, but he’s scored at 37. He tells me his 6-pointer in That Didn’t Take Long is acceptable, but I’ll leave these standings as they appear on the official scoring page.)
Julie Bratvold Ghanbari
Vito Cortese
Me (sigh)

First category clues brought to you by Joon, second category by Dad of Twins!

3: Two of the four present-day countries that were official combatants against Israel in the Six-Day War. (This question was a bit of a pain in the butt to blog about. I looked at all 14 people’s correct responses to find the fourth country, and no one put anything besides the three you see when your arrow hovers over the red text.) This was Dad of Twin’s response to the grader’s query: Regarding the 6-day war, my research indicates that Israel was fighting against 3 countries: Iraq, Lebanon, and the “United Arab Republic” which consisted of modern-day Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Alison, Joon, Stefan, Ryan, David, Robert, Vito, Megan, Julie, Kathy, Jeanie, Andy
