More information about Final Jeopardy:
Stephen Dedalus is the main character of James Joyce’s A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, also appearing in Joyce’s Ulysses. His namesake from Greek mythology, Daedalus, famously built the labyrinth on Crete to house the Minotaur, and was then locked away to prevent the knowledge of the Labyrinth from spreading. In order to escape, he built wings for himself and his son Icarus (Icarus famously then flew too close to the sun with his wax wings, which then melted, and Icarus fell to his death).
