This Week’s Contestants – June 18-22, 2018

Wheel of Fortune may be in summer reruns, but Jeopardy! still has six weeks left of brand-new games before the summer!

Deirdre Thomas returns as champion; this week’s challengers include a pair of Canadians! (One from British Columbia and one from Ontario!)

With two Canadians on the show this week, it seems like a good idea to remind Canadian Jeopardy! fans that Jeopardy! streams online in Canada!

Also, did you know that Alex Trebek will be a panelist on the June 24 episode of “To Tell The Truth”? Make sure to tune in ABC next Sunday at 10 (9 Central) to watch!

Are you curious about where this season’s contestants have been coming from? Matt Carberry has been tracking this information by media market this season!

  1. Vancouver is the only market making its debut for the season this week; Jacksonville also has its first contestant in regular play, but not overall (Carsen Smith from the College Championship was from there).

…but are we sure Ali is actually Canadian, or did the UK take over the northwest corner of South America without us noticing? The show lists Ali as being from New Westminster, British Colombia. (Just pointing this out for fun, of course.)
