Correct response: Who is Annie Sullivan?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
Annie Sullivan, best known for being Helen Keller’s famous teacher (also described by Mark Twain as a “miracle worker”), contracted trachoma at the age of five, which severely damaged her sight. While at Perkins School for the Blind in Massachusetts, Sullivan had a pair of surgeries to repair her vision, and post-graduation Sullivan was sent by the school in 1887 to teach Keller, who was blind and deaf.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, over $370 has been raised.)

As was said in May when this episode originally aired:
Encyclopedia Britannica says the following about Anne Sullivan: “Surgery the next year restored some sight” (the next year referring to 1881). When someone who is considered blind has some sight restored, it is not incorrect to say that she regained sight.
That’s highly significant…
