Wondering why James Holzhauer isn’t taking part? This tournament originally aired in February and March, prior to James even being known by everyone, and is re-airing over last week and this week. James returns in November.

More information about Final Jeopardy:

Overall, there have been 27 amendments to the United States Constitution. While the “free speech” part of the 1st Amendment usually gets most of the press, it also prohibits Congress from making any law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise of religion (usually known as the Establishment Clause).

Ratified in 1865, the 13th Amendment abolished slavery and involuntary servitude in the United States (except as punishment for a crime).

Finally, the 21st Amendment (ratified in 1933) repealed the 18th; the 18th had prohibited the manufacturing or sale of alcohol in the United States.

Will there ever be a 28th amendment? Somedays, I feel as though you could not get 38 states to agree on whether or not the sky is blue.

And, of course, this concludes the reruns for the 35th season of Jeopardy!. Season 36 begins Monday!

Team Ken (Matt) $16,200 + $0 = $16,200 + $32,500 = $48,700

Andy’s Thoughts:

  • Colby’s final wager was deliberately chosen as a Les Miserables reference.
