  1. Once the show airs, hmmmm. I’ve got this strange feeling I know who’ll win. The video of this day in J! history has been viewed millions of times on YT.

    Ken did so well!

  3. I felt bad enough for James when he lost to Emma Boettcher, who had a 3 day run, for total winnings of just over #97,000.

Nancy Zerg beat Ken Jennings, won $14,001 and was defeated the next day.

    C’est la vie!

James is the only Ultra Champ (10+ wins) to lose to someone who won another game. Including her TOC winnings, Emma’s won $197,002.

The combined total of the other eight winners over Ultra Champs? $180,304.

Oh man, Ken had absolutely no business losing this game! Very interesting to watch though. We also learned that he is apparently not a Seinfeld fan or a sports fan.

  5. Andy,

Do you know how many they still have recorded before an audience? And will they record any without an audience or will it just be the seasons end when they run out of the episodes already recorded?

As I watched I got feelings of deja vu.
The game that ended Jen’s epic run. I remember watching it.
