This was a pretty easy FJ clue for me, having traveled through New England quite a lot over the last 20+ years.
Though Vermont doesn’t have an Ivy of its own, you can literally walk less than a mile from the Dartmouth campus to Vermont (down the hill and across the bridge spanning the Connecticut River).
I used to forget whether Dartmouth was in New Hampshire or Vermont. It is also the only Ivy League school which is not a university.
That’s correct. Dartmouth is technically a “College.” My guess was Connecticut as well. Not a bad one, but I forgot Yale was there.
Good job Morgan for the runaway!
Actually it wasn’t a runaway. It would have been a tie. Had Morgan wagered zero,Shawn everything (and been right) we would have gone to a tiebreaker.
Sean:
10200 x 2 = 20400, not the 21400 that Morgan had.
What a big turnaround from the J! round to the DJ! round for Morgan, from a distant 3rd with $2,600 to a runaway with $21,400. These two rounds certainly seem unrelated. But wish him well and we’ll see what tomorrow brings!
You’ll have to wait till June 8. The next two weeks are Teachers.
Sorry, just got up and put egg on my face. Miscalculated, it WAS a runaway.
Have a safe and great weekend everybody!
If I didn’t know the question to the answer “Comedy Tonight” (Broadway Musicals’ Opening Numbers), I would quit watching Jeopardy! on the spot. I saw the Zero Mostel production on Broadway as a child, I have the OST LP of the same production and I also have the Blu-ray of the movie adaption.
Wow, Morgan came out of nowhere, and ended up running away with it at the end of Double Jeopardy, and Shawn looked like he had that runaway, too after the Jeopardy Round, but at least he’s leaving with over $24,000.
