More information about Final Jeopardy:
In an early example of photojournalism, Jacob Riis documented the squalor that was the New York City slums and tenements of the 1880s Lower East Side. Many in the upper-class and middle-class residents of New York and the United States were unaware of just how poor the conditions were; many of the tenement’s residents had immigrated recently into the United States and had stayed in New York City. Riis’ use of magnesium flash powder was able to capture the dark conditions. By 1888, Riis had begun a lecture tour to present the photographs; in January 1890, a book version titled How the Other Half Lives: Studies among the Tenements of New York was published. The work helped kickstart the reform movement towards housing; this had the additional effect of removing many of the contagious diseases which had been originating in the filth.

I remember that Alex gets emotional when he reads Dhruv’s FJ response.
Closer game than I remembered.
A great episode to see again — not only for Dhruv’s touching message to Alex but for Emma’s victory. It was only appropriate that Emma made the championship round to show that she deserved the fame she got from ending James’ streak while also gaining some fortune for her fine play.
Is there any chance that Sony will broadcast really old episodes? They would be fun to see. Didn’t Alex once have a large curly hairstyle?
Google some episodes of High Rollers from the 70s to enjoy a fine ‘fro (and epic ‘stache) on Alex…YouTube has a few!
