Here’s today’s Final Jeopardy (in the category Websites) for Tuesday, June 24, 2025 (Season 41, Game 207):
A 2006 WSJ article described this website as having “row after row of blue…hyperlinks & nary another color or graphic in sight”
(correct response beneath the contestants)
Today’s Jeopardy! contestants:
Micah Fritz, a teacher from Milwaukee, Wisconsin![]() |
Nicholas Moline, an attorney from Mooresville, Indiana![]() |
Emily Croke, a stay-at-home mom from Denver, Colorado (1-day total: $13,201)![]() |
Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
Our carousel of one-day champions continues on Jeopardy!, with Emily Croke occupying the champion’s lectern today; she’s the 7th different champion in as many days. We’re still quite a ways away from our record, though—13 or 14 (depending on how Priscilla Ball’s return in 2009 is tracked). Both Nicholas Moline and Micah Fritz would certainly like that streak to continue, but I definitely think that the prediction model might underrate Emily—especially after she got what I thought was a difficult Final Jeopardy correct yesterday to seal her victory.

One of many “Zen and the Art of…” headlines that the Wall Street Journal has used over the years, “Zen and the Art of Classified Advertising” describes Craigslist, an online classified advertisements website founded in 1995 for the San Francisco Bay Area, but within a few years began expanding to other U.S. and Canadian cities. It was very well known for its minimalist design, with very few graphics and just text—much like a newspaper classifieds section would be.
Honestly, I’m hoping to see at least one contestant guess Reddit here—especially as Reddit’s founders sold the site to Condé Nast in 2006—just to hear some variation of “I’m sorry, Reddit is wrong.”

Hello from scorching Philadelphia.
I came up with Google search results screen…
Stay cool Rick!
If it makes you feel better in your little rivalry, Redditors are struggling mightily with this clue (at about 20% as of this writing), and most think the clue is just not enough to get the answer — in fact, more Redditors are saying Wikipedia than Craigslist (although a quick glance at some major sites in 2006 reveal that if you didn’t know who the WSJ was talking about, you had more than one guess…)
I went with LinkedIn, making the wrong connection (WSJ = business), but then again, I’m a little old for Craigslist.
I went with Wikipedia, thinking about the sources, but Craigslist makes much more sense after reading the explanation.
I also guessed Wikipedia as its home page remains relatively plain after nearly 25 years and that WSJ article was only 5 years in for Wikipedia (though I’d thought maybe it had been new at the time). I have NEVER been on the Craigslist website for any reason.
I have maybe been to that website once or twice and didn’t buy anything from there, let alone place my own ad. But…..look below.
Question: when was the last time a player achieved “Best Seat in the House” status for a round? I.e., before Nicholas today, what was the most recent 0/0 round in regular play?
That’s a great observation, WWORDuke. As a follow-up, has anyone ever gone 0/0 for both rounds? Not sure we should be bringing this up, though, as Andy does not really like negative records. Still, it is kind of remarkable to think about. Even one 0/0 round is quite rare.
Somewhat along those lines, we almost had all three zero dollar wagers today in Final. I can’t remember that happening so I wonder if that is something we are still waiting to see or how long has it been since that happened. Zero is the theme for the day. 🙂
I recall a Tournament of Champions many years ago where a player went the entire Jeopardy round without getting in.
That said, I wouldn’t expect a definitive answer from Andy — recall again TJ!F editorial policy regarding “negative records”; I think this subject qualifies.
There had not been an “all three players wagered zero” recorded in the Archive before February 2024 during Champions Wildcard, and I think it has happened at least once more since then.
In absence of a self-deprecating comment about how it’ll probably be me in a few years, no. No civilian contestant in the history of the show has gone an entire game without being correct one time (and the only Celebrity to go through the first two rounds with 0 correct, Becky Lynch, got two of the 30 Triple Jeopardy clues – as well as Final – correct). By extension, nobody has ever gone an entire game without ringing in.
As for the second part of your comment, it’s happened three times in total. Twice during Champions Wildcard in 2024 (both, coincidentally, in Mira Hayward runaways) and once in Masters the same year (in the last quarterfinal, Victoria Groce wagered nothing to cement her fifth and final victory in that round, as did Amy Schneider and Mattea Roach, the former of whom had a runaway for second – and the last semifinal spot – over the latter). But no, a FJ where all three players bet $0 has never happened in regular play… yet 🙂
Thanks for the update, MasterDoge. It’s nice to know that it has never happened in regular play rather than something I had forgotten. Appreciate your letting me know that my memory hasn’t failed me (at least, in this instance).
Well, this one came to me instantly! I have no idea why or what not. I believe that I have only been to the Craigslist website once or twice, maybe. I did remember that it was a website that my friend has used and thought I had heard it was a buy and sell exchange site.
Just sometimes something hits you! 🙂
Now 8 straight different winners and 3 of those have been won by Runaway fashion. That’s weird to me. Most won by those 8 players is $20k and that was by the 1st of our 8.
We’ll see if anything changes tomorrow!
Maybe your friend showed it to you and even if you didn’t just unconsciously remember its look from then, you might have remembered when that was.
I’ll take it however it came to me Lisa! 🙂
