Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars – Semifinal Preview

This week will see the remaining 4 games (the semifinals and finals) from Celebrity Jeopardy! All Stars as our last nine players face off for their respective charities.

The semifinals and final will be airing on ABC at 8:00 (7:00 Central); Canadian viewers should check their local listings, as the extra game days this week will cause CTV to have to fit the show in amongst shows from other American networks that it also has purchased the rights to.

Tuesday, May 12, 2026:

Lisa Ann Walter (31.5% to win)
Playing for: Fund for Women’s Equality
Lisa Ann Walter on Celebrity Jeopardy!
88 correct, 16 incorrect
8/11 on rebound attempts (on 32 rebound opportunities)
26.54% in first on buzzer (82/309)
6/8 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $5,900)
3/3 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $10,725

Lisa Ann Walter returns to the Alex Trebek Stage following her Tournament of Champions appearance, where she isn’t the favorite against a pair of sports commentators in Katie Nolan and Mina Kimes. We’ll see how much her ToC shellshocking affects her gameplay in this event, and how much she and Ken talk about it in the interviews.

Katie Nolan (39.5% to win)
Playing for: The Trevor Project
Katie Nolan on Celebrity Jeopardy!
135 correct, 11 incorrect
14/15 on rebound attempts (on 27 rebound opportunities)
35.01% in first on buzzer (118/337)
8/10 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $28,000)
2/4 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $18,000

I’ll be honest: I was absolutely thrilled when I discovered that there are two separate people in American media with the name Katie Nolan, and it’s not this Katie Nolan whose name is on the masthead of a publication that has been acting rather poorly towards me over the last two months. This means that I can very happily cheer for Katie to do quite well this week!

The Unified Prediction Model likes Katie’s chances here.

Mina Kimes (29.0% to win)
Playing for: SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition
Mina Kimes on Celebrity Jeopardy!
101 correct, 15 incorrect
5/5 on rebound attempts (on 11 rebound opportunities)
39.29% in first on buzzer (99/252)
8/9 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $9,000)
1/3 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $16,800

Coming off what might be considered as an upset win over Andy Richter in the quarterfinals, Mina Kimes gets Lisa Ann Walter and Katie Nolan in this one. While Mina isn’t favored to win this by the Unified Prediction Model, she is more than capable of taking victory in this game, especially considering that she led everyone with 63 buzzer attempts in the quarterfinals.

Sean Gunn (32.2% to win)
Playing for: Women for Women International
Sean Gunn on Celebrity Jeopardy!
104 correct, 10 incorrect
7/7 on rebound attempts (on 21 rebound opportunities)
38.89% in first on buzzer (98/252)
4/6 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $6,400)
1/3 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $20,333

Steven Weber (35.6% to win)
Playing for: New Directions for Veterans
Steven Weber on Jeopardy!
113 correct, 16 incorrect
7/7 on rebound attempts (on 25 rebound opportunities)

6/7 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $24,700)
2/4 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $13,950

Overall Thoughts: This is one of those semifinals where you could play it 10 times and nobody would even win five of them. This one is going to be an evenly matched game between all three of our players with the win literally coming down to whoever the categories happen to suit slightly better.

Thursday, May 14, 2026:

Ike Barinholtz (40.2% to win)
Playing for: Noonan Syndrome Foundation
Ike Barinholtz on Celebrity Jeopardy!
163 correct, 8 incorrect
5/5 on rebound attempts (on 19 rebound opportunities)
41.80% in first on buzzer (153/366)
8/8 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $47,600)
4/5 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $18,260

Patton Oswalt (39.4% to win)
Playing for: Alice’s Kids
Patton Oswalt on Celebrity Jeopardy!
139 correct, 6 incorrect
7/9 on rebound attempts (on 20 rebound opportunities)
36.01% in first on buzzer (121/336)
11/11 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $66,800)
4/4 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $17,400

Mira Sorvino (20.4% to win)
Playing for: UN Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons
Mira Sorvino on Celebrity Jeopardy!
92 correct, 18 incorrect
7/10 on rebound attempts (on 24 rebound opportunities)
35.32% in first on buzzer (89/252)
7/8 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $11,800)
2/3 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $12,633

Overall Thoughts: Fireworks time! I actually feel a little bit bad for Mira, as she gets to be given this draw after a come-from-behind win over Mo Rocca in the quarterfinals. That being said, we get a partial rematch here of the Season 1 final with Ike and Patton, and I am already looking forward to every single minute of Thursday’s episode. Ike and Patton are by far the two strongest players remaining in the draw here, and I am expecting an extremely close and competitive match between the two of them. It would not surprise me to see both of them with massively high scores entering Final Jeopardy.

1 Comment on "Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars – Semifinal Preview"

  1. Predictions:
Game 1: Mina Kimes. Mina almost made the finals in Season 3 and upset Andy Richter in a runaway and answered 31 correct responses with 63 attempts. Lisa Ann really choked it in the TOC with 3 right and $-2,600.
Game 2: Sean Gunn. This is a close one, but Sean could’ve beat W. Kamau Bell if he was correct in final. Steven Weber and Kamau Bell are also good, but I have Sean as a slight favorite
Game 3: Ike Barinholtz. It’s a bummer the 2 best players are in the same semifinal, but Ike is on a different level. Ike was a Tournament of Champions semifinalist and a final Jeopardy clue away from being a finalist against Ben Chan.
