Hitting the Links – Week One, Day 3 #SHC2012

(And there are lots of links today…)
First, I was interviewed a while back by a guy from the Wall Street Journal about Jeopardy! and especially O’Brien’s Pub Quiz. Happily, the story‘s published, but sadly, I don’t see me in it. Such is life.
Next, a few weeks ago, Ernest Nino-Murcia e-mailed me with an idea for a weekly poll: Who is the strongest 2-time champ since the last ToC? (That is, people who won’t make the next ToC.) I thought that was a great idea. To refresh your memories before the poll starts, here’s the list:
Kendra Anspaugh
Jan Zasowski
Bhibha Das (Sorry; her last two episodes aired the week I was in California taping my own, and I didn’t blog about her first one.)
Boomie Aglietti
Brandon Libby
Amy Stephenson (I’m sorry I don’t have a picture of her. To be honest I don’t remember her either.) Edit: My friend Robert (see below) found a picture of Amy.
Kirby Burnett (Yikes! Without a picture, I don’t remember him either!)
Brendan Graham
Cathy Guiles
Judy Nichols (Don’t forget, I’ll be publishing an interview with her soon!)
Cindy Vanderbur
Richard Block
Aaron Cappocchi
Kathy Wright
Anna-lise Santella
A.J. Motley
Recent Coryats (Full disclosure: It’s Teen Week.):
originally 11-12-08: 39800 (42400 without negs. It’s Drew Scheeler‘s episode!)

Now for a recap of the Summer Hiatus Challenge over on the message boards! Here are the Day 3 questions. Names in green are the ones who got it right. Black means they clammed; red means they negged. The people we’re tracking and reminders who they are:

Now, I can’t believe how many people aren’t playing this year. I counted 9 people without even trying that are MIA. I have this horrible feeling they’re not gonna realize the challenge started early, since new episodes are playing this week. At the same time, I can’t imagine they all watch Jeopardy! every day, forget about Kids Week!
Overall standings as of the moment I’m typing this, keeping in mind that I believe this counts Day 4:
Joon
Julie
Drew
Stefan
Vito
Ryan
Alison and Bill (tied)
Kathy
David
Jeanie
Robert
Andy
Megan

     Isn’t this fun?
