LITERARY NAME DROPPERS
BEER-POURRI (Dara will be disappointed that this wasn’t on last Monday!)
PUT IT ON MY “BILL”
As was predicted by our panelists, Lauren was very strong out of the gate! She also went toe-to-toe with John in the BEER category — if we get her on, are we going to discuss beer again on the panel? I’d go for that!
Scores after 15:
Ricardo got to play the Daily Double, under 2015 ANNIVERSARIES $600! Scores:
Ricardo bet $1,000. His clue: The 75-year life of this Disney film includes an excerpt given to schools subtitled “A Lesson In Honesty”. His correct response put him at $1,400!
At the end of the round, the scores were:
DJ! round categories:
KIDS & THE BIBLE
HIT THE ROAD
PROCESS OF “L-M-N”ATION
John found the first Daily Double early on at the bottom of SYMBOLS! Scores:
John went big! He went for $6,200! His clue: This beryl gem symbolized fertility & the Aztecs associated it with Quetzalcoatl, a god of agriculture. John picked a gemstone completely out of thin air and the look on his face when Alex told him he was right was priceless! Good for him!
From there, John hit quite a stride, doing quite well in THE WHO!
Lauren found the final Daily Double — a video — in HIT THE ROAD $1200! Scores:
Lauren also went for the True Daily Double! Her clue: Used by more than 50,000 people between 1841 and 1860, and winding 2000 miles, this route crossed the Continental Divide and included Fort Hall and Fort Vancouver. Lauren, being of the generation that probably played the computer game of the same name many many times, got this question right away and went to $12,000!
At the end of the Double Jeopardy! round, the scores were:
FJ! category: 20th CENTURY BRITS
